Teckel Amigurumi Free English Pattern
This Amigurumi Dachshund (or Teckel amigurumi) is one of my favorite amigurmi. I have used a lot of yarn, because it is larger tan many others.
I´ve done this teckel with a yarn thicker than I normally use, and with a 2.5 mm hook. I have relied on a dog I´ve seen in Internet, and I have been guided by this pattern.
I´ve changed many things, so I put as I have done. Keep in mind that it isn´t a translation of the original.
By the way, I´ve started a blog with all the free tutorials and pattern I ´ve seen. It´s very easy to find the patterns. It´s called DIVERSIDADES; if you are interested the address is:
The teckel is made with a cotton/acrylic yarn and 2.5 mm crochet (you need a smaller crochet than that recmmended by the manufacturer of wool).. It takes two alternative colors (or more if you want to make a striped one, for example), small safety eyes, and a bit of felt to decorate.
inc = increase
dec = decrease
sc = single crochet
ss = slip stitch
ch= chain stitch

You,ll never guess who has been playing with PicMonkey, will you?
If you don´t like some of the proportions and want to change them, it´s just a matter of trying to increase or decrease points faster or slower.
I feel my English language is so wrong, but I hope you understand the pattern.
