When using the specified materials and hook numbers 3.5mm size of my toys 22-23cm.
Yarn consumption and size of your toy can differ, depending on your density and knitting style, hook number, packing density toys, as well as from the brand of yarn and its batch.

PATTERN
Arms
We knit the handles with plush yarn (colors of your choice).
We knit a sleeve in one color, the sleeves themselves to others.
We knit a finger 4DCc1B in one loop grounds.
To do this, we make a yarn, we stretch out the working thread and knit 2 loops on the hook (on the hook 2 loops remain) .We again yarn over, stretch working thread into the same loop of the base and knit again 2 loops on the hook (on the hook 3 loops remain) Repeat this 2 more times. the hook turns 5 loops. We knit all 5 loops with one eyelet (see video).
We knit a finger:

Cut the thread, fix it. Change the color of the yarn to blouse color.
Attach the thread in the center from the inner sides of the sleeves.
We knit the next row for the back loops.

Fold the top of the handle in half so that the finger looked forward and to the body, we knit 4sc for both walls.
Cut the thread, fix it.
Body-Head
The body is knitted from bottom to top. The marker passes strictly back center of body and head, if necessary make offset loops.
We begin to knit the snowman with white color, we begin to knit the gnome in any color ( to your taste).

We knit the nose of the Snowman with yarn Children’s New
orange.

We knit the nose of the Gnome with plush yarn of color heads.

Eye shaping
Eye shaping:
First and second tightening
We introduce the needle between the 28th and 29th row, focusing
in the center of the eye.
We bring the needle to the lower outer corner of the eye, then
into the lower inner corner of the eye and return to
the original place of entry of the needle, stepping back from it
1 column.
We pull up on both threads, little eye

We tie the threads together, cut and

On the second side, we do the same.
Third tightening
Insert the needle from the back in the center of the neck at the border
color change and output over the head to the bottom

I use YarnArt yarn to decorate the mouth.
Jeans (red), two strands.
We introduce the needle from the area of the nose and withdraw a little
above the dimple under the cheek, formed
after tightening.
Next, we insert the needle just above the second dimple from the tightening, straighten the thread and bring the needle to the original place of insertion.
Cut the thread, tie it and use a hook to hide it inside the head.
If desired, we embroider the sides of a smile with the same yarn in one thread.
We embroider arrows
Black yarn YarnArt Jeans or Children’s
New (in one thread) we embroider arrows.
You can embroider the whites of the eyes for the gnome.
With white plush yarn (I have Himalaya Dolphin Fine) we embroider squirrels for 1/3 of the eye.
We embroider the eyebrows
We embroider the eyebrows with black yarn YarnArt
Jeans or Children’s Novelty, in one thread.
We embroider eyebrows between 36 and 37 row.
Eyebrow width 3sc, distance between eyebrows 6sc.
Sew on the nose of the Snowman

Decorating the beard Gnome
We use yarn to decorate the beard
Soft + white.
We cut the required number of segments
length 18cm (the length and thickness of the beard can
adjust to your taste).
We stick the hook 1 row below the mouth along
center and stretch the folded yarn
twice for the middle.
Then we stretch into the formed loop
the ends of the segment and tighten.
And thus we go through the entire contour
beards (see video).
Beard styling:

We also knit with soft + white yarn.

Twigs for decoration
We knit twigs for decorating the cap and cap
yarn Children’s novelty green.
We put on a chain of 21ch, from the 2nd loop from the hook
we knit 5sc.
In the next loop we make sl-st and from it we type
6sc, from the 2nd loop from the hook we knit in
reverse direction 5sc.
And thus we knit to the end of the chain.
The length and number of branches can be any.
