Add blush to the cheeks with pink eye shadow.

Crochet the skirt:

Crochet 14 rows in the front loops only.

Attach yarn:

Row 1: (3 ch, 1 sl st in one loop), 2 sl st in each loop to the end of the row.

Row 2: 1 sl st in each loop to the end of the row. Cut the yarn.

a. Cut the yarn.

Make the straps:

Thread yarn onto a needle, make a knot:

Insert the needle behind the skirt.

Bring the needle with the yarn through and loop it over the penguin’s shoulder:

Insert the needle from the front under the skirt, make a knot, hide it.

Do the same for the second strap.

Cap:

Cast on 45 sts.

Knit 4 rows in a 1*1 rib pattern (1k, 1p).

Knit 24 rows in stockinette stitch:

This is the first decrease.

Start making decreases:

You need to make 3 decreases at the beginning of the row.

Knit the edge stitch and the next stitch together.

Now put the resulting loop back on the left needle and knit it together with the next stitch.

This is the second decrease.

Now put the resulting loop back on the left needle and knit it together with the next stitch.

This is the third decrease.

Now knit with face loops to the end of the row without decreases.

At the beginning of each row, make 3 decreases as described above until there are 3-4 stitches left on the needles.

In the wrong side rows, make decreases in the same way.

Now sew up the cap along the uneven edge.

Then leave a thread for sewing.

Thread the remaining stitches onto a hook, pull the thread through them, and tighten.

Crochet ties for the cap:

The number of stitches is arbitrary.

Cast on 12 ch, then crochet single crochet stitches along the bottom edge of the cap as shown in the photo:

When you reach the end of the cap edge, cast on 12 ch again, cut the thread.

The ties are ready.

Our penguin is ready!
