TAIL:

Chain 50, starting from the 2nd chain from the hook, crochet (1 sc, inc)* to the end of the chain. Then, chain another 50 and again crochet (1 sc, inc)* to the end. Repeat this until you have 5 rows in total.

Fasten off, leave a long tail.

ASSEMBLY:

• Attach the body to the head.

• Attach the snout below the eyes.

• Attach eyelashes carefully around the eyes.

• Make nostrils and embroider eyebrows using white embroidery floss and black embroidery floss or Iris.

• Sew the ears between rows 9-10.

• Sew the horn between the eyebrows.

• Attach the arms diagonally as shown in the photo.

• Attach the legs so that the unicorn can sit. Mine are attached approximately between rows 10-14 with a distance of 8 stitches between them.

• Take the tail piece, fold it in half, sew both sides together. Then fold it again and sew it to the back of the body.

MANE:

Chain 50. Starting from the 2nd chain from the hook, crochet (1 sc, inc)* to the end of the chain. Join this chain to the head between rows 6-5 as shown in the photo.

Next, crochet 2 slip stitches across the head. Then, chain another 50, starting from the 2nd chain from the hook, crochet (1 sc, inc)* to the end of the chain. Again, crochet 2 slip stitches across the head. Now, chain 60 and repeat the process. In total, we should have two rows of 50 chains and five rows of 60 chains. Repeat this “striping” across the head three times, keeping them very close together. Refer to the last photo for clarity. In total, we should have 21 rows for the mane.

Hurray! Our unicorn is ready!
